Above are the two piece types of sidtaxhi, followed by the combo, and then a slices animation, they were created using Stella4D. We could name the pieces and combos as follows:
Sidtid - large magenta piece - it is the entire sidtid cell, 120 needed.
Lil' Tet - yellow tetrahedral piece - comes from the corners of the tet cells, 2400 needed.
Ditet - composed of two lil' tets, folded inward - yellow, 1200 needed.
Sidtaxhi is nearly convex and is one of the simplest star hyic polychora to build. We could cut out all sidtids individually or group them up in a net like the GIF on the right. Place convex tabs on all triangular pieces and on half of the star pieces. If we did the sidtids individually then there will be a tab on the north pole star (which we can call Polaris 😜), and the five stars on the southern hemisphere, leaving the northern five and south pole stars tabless. If you follow the net, try to put one tab per connection. If we do the individual sidtid version, connect ten in a row and fold them into a ring and then connect twelve rings in a swirling way. All that's left is to cut out the ditets and fold them inward a bit and place them in the gaps and you're done. Now make a field goal with it.
