Category S2: Podary Scaliforms

These scaliform polychora are found in (or almost in) the sidpith and the gittith regiments. They have squared square symmetry like iquipadah. Each one has 64 vertices. I found these in early 2005.

Sidpith Scaliforms

Verfs of Sidpith Scaliforms

These are in the sidpith regiment.

Scucoth - (SKOO kuth / small cupolic cubitesseracti16) - cells are 16 tets, 8 cubes, 16 cubes (prismatic), and 16 squicus (square cupolas). Verf resembles steth's but with extra parts filled in. Some of it's edges are spiky. This one is wild and orientable.

Cacupo - (ca COO poe / chasmic cupolic prismato-octachoron) - cells are 32 trips, 8 cubes (prismatic), and 16 squicus. Verf looks like snappoth's but with the top hollowed out and with a side filled in. Some of it's edges are spiky. Cacupo is hollow inside and is filled with chasms and is one of the strangest in this regiment. This one is wild and orientable.

Shado - (SHA doe / small 16dis8) - cells are 16 tets, 8 cubes (prismatic), and 8 'tetrapod-cut-sirco's (tepcus). The tetrapod-cut-sirco is the result of using a tetrapod shaped cookie cutter and slicing it through a sirco, the end result has 4 octagons (vertical), 2 squares (horizontal), 4 rhombi-squares (vertical), and 8 triangles. Verf looks like a crossed trapezoid pyramid. Technically shado isn't a sidpith regiment member since it doesn't have all of sidpith's edges. Shado is quite odd looking, it is tame and orientable.

Scapto - (SCAP toe / small cubiprismatotesseractioctachoron) - cells are 8 cubes, 16 cubes (prismatic), 32 trips, and 8 'tetrapod-cut-sirco's. Verf is a trigonal antipodium with the top and one side scooped out. Scapto is more filled in than the others in this regiment. This one is wild and non-orientable.

Caco - (KAY koe / chasmic cuboctachoron) - cells are 16 cubes (prismatic) and 8 '2-op-fusion's (topfu). The 2-op-fusion is the result of blending 2 perpendicular octagon prisms together, the result has a hole where the 2 ops meet. Caco has two orthogonal chasms that meet at the hollow center. Like shado, it isn't a true sidpith member since it lacks some of sidpith's edges. Verf is a butterfly pyramid. This one is tame and orientable.

Scaptho - (SKAP thoe / small cubiprismatotesseracti16-8) - cells are 16 tets, 8 cubes, 8 cubes (prismatic), 32 trips, and 8 '2-op-fusions'. Verf is a trigonal antipodium with two walls dug out. Like scapto, scaptho is quite filled in. This one is wild and non-orientable.

Gittith Scaliforms

Verfs of Gittith Scaliforms

These are in the gittith regiment.

Gacucoth - (ga COO cuth / great cupolic cubitesseracti16) - cells are 8 cubes, 16 tets, 16 cubes (prismatic), 16 rasquacus (4/3 cupola). Verf resembles a crossed trapezoid pyramid with the short side bloated out. This one is wild and orientable.

Gacupo - (ga COO poe / great cupolic prismatooctachoron) - cells are 32 trips, 8 cubes (prismatic), and 16 rasquacus. Verf sort of resembles cacupo's. This polychoron will have some spiky edges. This one is wild and orientable.

Gahdo - (GAH doe / great 16dis8) - cells are 16 tets, 8 cubes (prismatic), and 8 cross-hatch-goccoes. The cross-hatch-gocco is the conjugate of the tetrapod-cut-sirco, it sort of looks like a gocco, but with the front and back octagrams changed into diagonal #-shaped regions. Verf is a trapezoid pyramid. This one is not a true regiment member due to lacking edges. It is tame and orientable.

Gocapto - (go CAP toe / great cubiprismatotesseractioctachoron) - cells are 8 cubes, 16 cubes (prismatic), 32 trips, and 8 cross-hatch-goccoes. Verf looks like quidpith's wearing a helmet. This one is wild and non-orientable.

Gaco - (GAY koe / great cuboctachoron) - cells are 16 cubes (prismatic) and 8 '2-stop-fusion's. The 2-stop-fusion is a blend of 2 perpendicular octagram prisms which looks like a gocco with the front and back octagrams swapped for cross hatch (#) shapes. Verf is a butterfly pyramid. Gaco isn't a true gittith member due to fewer edges. This one is tame and orientable.

Gicpatho - (gick PATH o / great cubiprismatotesseracti16-8) - cells are 16 tets, 8 cubes, 8 cubes (prismatic), 32 trips, and 8 '2-stop-fusion's. Verf is strangely decorated trigon podium faceting. This one is wild and non-orientable.
